Annexx project responsibilities The project required a frame structure to display 200+ custom fixed lights. These were wrapped aroung the column which required structure for bracket fixing for lights. 3d modeling, shop drawings, production shop drawings and cut files for framework and alucobond skins. 

Completed the installation of alucobond skins, setout of strip supports for metal flutes, installation of flutes and suppoprts.

Annexx project responsibilities GDK Design Manager(subcontractor). Design coordination with architect, onsite set out, balustrade set out, coordination between steel subcontractor and tiered seating carpenters. 3D modelling and production of all 3 and 5-axis CNC model files to workshop. Creating all project methodology to produce larger prefabricated modules that were workshop built.  All items were fixed onsite and installed within a final 2 week window.

D & C contract. Supply and installation of  fifeteen columns to atrium upgrade. Column made from custom steel brackets and fixings, Aluminium composite rolled cladding and powdercoated  aluminium tube.

Annexx project responsibilities Design Hub Director of Operations, lead design manager, project manager, contract administration, design and fabrication methodology, produced all 3D modelling/production files, co-ordinated specialist trades and suppliers. This project was by far the most rewarding. Initially the concept was put forward to us with two pre-assembled bolt fixed modules. These would be lifted into place and installed onsite. The challenge was to move awayfrom this as the access would be more difficult and cumbersome. The aim was to create methodology to install with pre-engineered parts. Another constraint was the extisting balustrade could not be moved and there was very minimal zone from concrete column to balustrade.

The final solution was a thin 6mm steel support ring which was tapped. A pre cut and rolled composite panel matched holes in the support ring. The feature tubes were key hole slotted and attached with a small nut between the composite panel and tube. A small custom machined sleeved fitting connected the soffit features. This design methodology resulted in a fast installation and limited strain on the installers.
